About Pixel Flow
What is Pixel Flow?
Pixel Flow is an action-puzzle game that combines timing, strategy, and satisfying visuals. The premise is simple yet quirky: you control a conveyor belt of pigs that are ready to "rain" balls onto pixel cubes.
Your goal is to clear the board of pixel cubes to reveal a crisp, clean image. Unlike traditional match-3 games where you swap tiles, Pixel Flow requires you to manage a queue of characters (the pigs) who automatically target cubes of their own color. It’s perfect for micro-breaks, offering short sessions that have that "just one more round" appeal.
How to Play
The mechanics are easy to pick up but introduce a layer of strategy as you progress. Here is a step-by-step guide to playing Pixel Flow:
1. Tap to Deploy The game features a conveyor belt system. You simply tap to send a pig onto the belt. Once deployed, the pig will start shooting balls at pixel cubes that match its color.
2. Watch the Ammo Every pig has a number above its head—this is its ammo count. It represents how many hits the pig can make before it needs to stop.
If ammo runs out: The pig leaves the stage.
If ammo remains: The pig slips into one of the 5 waiting slots at the bottom of the screen. You can tap it again later to send it back onto the conveyor to fire another round.
3. Manage the Conveyor Capacity You cannot just spam the screen with pigs! The conveyor belt has a limited capacity. If you push past the limit, you will have to wait for space to clear up. This adds a strategic layer—you need to send pigs in the right order to ensure the flow doesn't get clogged.
4. Clear the Board Keep sending pigs and managing your waiting slots until every pixel cube is destroyed. Once the board is clear, you win the level!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Is Pixel Flow free to play? A: Yes, Pixel Flow is free to play. However, like many puzzle games, it contains ads.
Q: What do the waiting slots do? A: The waiting slots hold pigs that still have ammo left but aren't currently on the conveyor belt. You can store up to 5 pigs here. Managing these slots is key to clearing harder levels where you need to save specific colors for later.
Q: Why can't I send more pigs onto the screen? A: The conveyor belt has a maximum capacity. If you try to send a pig when the belt is full, it won't go. You must wait for the current pigs to finish their attacks or leave the stage.
Q: Does the game require an internet connection? A: Pixel Flow is listed as an offline game, meaning you can enjoy the core gameplay without an active internet connection—perfect for commutes or travel.
